Head Coach

Jamie Pearlman was born in 19 November 1971, originated from Canberra, Australia. He was a basketball player himself and played in Canberra Cannons National Basketball League (NBL) from 1993 to 1999 and then he played for Cairns Taipans in year 2000 to 2002. He first started his coaching career in 2011, he had been an Assistant Coach of Cairns Taipans in NBL from 2011 to 2018, and acted as the Head Coach of Cairns Marlins in Queensland Basketball League from 2011 to 2017. He acted as the Head Coach of Nelson Giants in New Zealand Basketball League (NZNBL). He has been the Head Coach of Westports Malaysia Dragons (Kuala Lumpur Dragons now) since 2018.

Assistant Coaches

Izran edika bin Kamaruddin was born in 8 August 1989, originated from Shah Alam Selangor. He was a professional basketball player in Malaysia from 2009 to 2019. He also played in ABL from 2010 to 2016. He is currently an assistant coach of Kuala Lumpur Dragons since 2018. His personal highlight of his 10 years of professional basketball career is winning the ABL Championship in ABL 2015-16. 

Adrian Wong Wai Kit 黄伟杰 was born in 5 May 1988, originated from Seri Kembangan, Selangor. He is a basketball player himself.  He has been an assistant coach of Kuala Lumpur Dragons since 2017. His proudest moment as a coach is to able to work with Coach Jamie  in Malaysia.

Fitness Coach

Arulchelvan Illenggo is also known as Samba, was born in 9 May 1986, originated from Perak. He was once a football player for Negeri  Sembilan Football Association and got the Champion of Malaysia Cup in 2009 and 2010. He is currently the strength and conditioning specialist for Kuala Lumpur Dragons and Coach in National Football Development Program. His proudest moment in his coaching career is to coach in Budesliga in Germany.


Renesh Prabaharan was born in 26 April 1990, originated from Kuala Lumpur. He graduated in 2012 from Mahsa University as a physiotherapist. He also holds a Certification in Sports Rehabilitation. He has been the physio for Kuala Lumpur Dragons for the past 7 years. His proudest moment is to be part of the Kuala Lumpur Dragons when they won the Championship in ABL 2015-16.
